1. Introduction
Shanghai Bichi Electronics ("we", "Bichi", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use www.bichiled.com, how we use it, and your rights under the PRC Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) and other applicable laws.
2. Information We Collect
When you register, request a quote (RFQ), or interact with our portal we collect: your name, business email, phone number, company name, job title, WeChat ID (optional), shipping address (when applicable), and IP/device information for security. We also retain a record of your account activity (RFQs, orders, login history) for service and audit purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
To fulfill your RFQ and order requests, communicate quote progress, maintain your account and security, comply with tax/customs law, and (where permitted) send service notices. We do not use your data for unrelated marketing without separate consent.
4. Sharing With Third Parties
We share order/shipping data with logistics providers, payment processors, and authorized manufacturers strictly to fulfill your transaction. Our CRM (Twenty CRM) processes contact and opportunity data under our written agreement. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention
Account data is kept for the duration of your account plus 3 years (tax and customs regulation). Server logs are kept for 90 days. On account deletion you may request erasure (PIPL §47); business records required by law are retained in restricted form.
6. Security
We use HTTPS in transit, password hashing (bcrypt), encrypted database backups, and role-based access. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password and notify us at the contact below if you suspect compromise.
7. Your Rights (PIPL §44-§50)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, port, and withdraw consent for your personal information. Contact dpo@bichiled.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 15 working days.
8. Minors
Our service is intended for business users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Cross-Border Data Transfers
All data is currently stored on servers located in mainland China. Should we transfer data overseas in the future (for example via cloud services), we will obtain separate consent as required by PIPL §38 and disclose recipients.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and an in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
